I’ve spent over two decades in the canopy and at the roots, and if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that a tree is only as healthy as the soil it stands in. My journey as an arborist has always been driven by a simple belief: preservation is better than removal.
After years of leading large-scale tree care divisions, I founded Soil Surgeons RX to get back to the "surgical" side of plant health care. I saw too many landscapes suffering from "surface-level" treatments that ignored the life-sustaining biology beneath the grass.
I’m not just a consultant who stays in the office; I’m a field-active technician who believes in the precision of the AirSpade and the power of organic amendments. Whether I'm de-compacting a root zone or balancing soil pH with biochar and mushroom manure, my goal is to provide a prescriptive, non-destructive cure for your landscape’s decline.
When I’m not restorative-pruning or revitalizing perennial beds, you’ll likely find me outdoors or with my family enjoying the very environment I work so hard to protect. I love what I do because I believe every landscape deserves a chance to thrive.
